Do I need an account?
No. You can search, view properties and contact advertisers without an account. An account lets you save properties and keep your viewings in one place.
Are prices final?
Prices are asking prices set by advertisers, always shown in Ghana cedis (GH₵). They are not completed sale prices. Many advertisers are open to negotiation.
Why is the map location approximate?
To protect people's homes, we show an approximate area unless the advertiser chooses to share the exact location. The advertiser can share the address when you arrange a viewing.
Listing a property
What do I need to list?
A title, the type of property, the price, the region and town, a short description and at least 3 photos (5 or more is better). Everything else is optional, and you can add it later.
Do I need to upload documents?
No. Ordinary listings don't need documents. If you want an extra trust check, you can request one separately, and we'll explain exactly what is needed and why.
Why is my listing “being checked”?
Our automatic checks look for things like web links in descriptions, unusual prices and possible duplicates. When something needs a closer look, a person reviews it, usually within a day. You'll be told the outcome and the reason.
How long does a listing stay live?
60 days. We'll remind you before it expires, and you can renew it in one tap if the property is still available.
Trust statuses
We use separate, specific statuses instead of one general “verified” badge.
- Basic listing. This listing passed our automated publication checks and includes the required basic information. It does not confirm who owns the property or that the details are accurate.
- Contact confirmed. The advertiser's chosen contact channel has been confirmed. It does not prove the advertiser owns or may sell or rent the property.
- Identity checked. The advertiser's Ghana Card number and a live selfie matched the National Identification Authority's record (for a business: its registration was checked). It does not prove the advertiser owns the property or may legally sell or rent it.
- Licence checked. The professional's licence was checked against an authoritative source on the date shown. Licence status can change after the check date. It says nothing about a specific property.
- Details checked. Specific listing details were reviewed. The exact items checked are listed. Only the listed items were checked. It is not a title search or legal review.
- Inspected. An inspection was carried out on the date shown, with the scope described. An inspection describes physical condition only. It does not confirm ownership.
- Legal review. A qualified professional completed the review described, on the date shown. Its scope and limits are stated. It is not government confirmation unless an official source is cited.
Sponsored listings have paid for extra visibility. Paying never grants a trust status, and it can't override a safety decision.
Agents, agencies and developers
Professionals can list and manage properties from the same account. You can add your licence details to your profile. We only show a “Licence checked” status after we have checked it against an authoritative source, and we show the date of the check. Being a member of GhanaDeals is not the same as holding a professional licence.
Your account
How do I delete my account?
Go to Dashboard → Settings → Delete account. Your listings, photos, saved properties and messages are deleted.
